Between 11-29, the "Metropolitan Municipalities City Theaters Meeting" will be held with the participation of the city theaters of 9 cities. 12 plays will be staged at the event, which will be hosted by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality City Theatres.
İzmir Metropolitan Municipality City Theaters (İzBBŞT) organizes a theater meeting with the participation of city theaters from all over the country. The city theaters of Istanbul, Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Denizli, Eskişehir, Kocaeli and Mersin metropolitan municipalities will host 12 different plays at the event. The works selected with the theme of “living local writers” will meet with theater lovers at Kültürpark İzBBŞT İsmet İnönü Stage and İzmir Sanat between 11-29 December.
The event aims to encourage the training of new local playwrights and to increase cooperation between public theaters.
