IPI's Second Media Symposium is Held in Izmir

The symposium titled “The Economy and Financial Sustainability of the Media” to be organized by the IPI Turkey National Committee on November 11, hosted by Izmir University of Economics, attracts new generation journalists and journalism students from various corners of Turkey, international and local experts as well as digital, visual and It aims to bring them together with well-known journalists working in print media. Through panels to be held under interesting topics such as "Sustainable Journalism in Local Media," "Reporting in the field, freelance work" and "Financing investigative journalism", the participants will be able to meet with their young and veteran colleagues in Turkey. they will seek an answer to the question of how to create a dynamic and sustainable new media.

The symposium, which will consist of a total of 6 panels, will include experienced journalists working in the national and international arena; Dilek Gappi, President of Izmir Journalists Association, will attend as a panelist. We present the program in the attachment for your information.
