The 'International Automotive Engineering Conference - IAEC', which focuses on the latest technologies and developments in the field of automotive engineering, begins. The conference, which will be held for the seventh time this year, will be hosted by local and foreign engineers who are experts in their fields, as well as important names.
The rapid change and development in the automotive brings with it the acceleration of the change in the field of vehicles and production technologies. While autonomous vehicles and digital production technologies maintain their place among the most important topics of the world automotive agenda, the share of important issues such as electrification and alternative fuel technologies in the shaping of the future of the automotive is increasing day by day in line with the sustainable policies to be followed in the field of climate.
“Frank Menchaca is coming to Turkey”
Frank Menchaca, Head of Sustainable Mobility Solutions at SAE International, will also be among the important names of the conference this year. Developing the sustainability work of SAE International, the oldest and largest technical organization in road and air transport engineering, Frank Menchaca also leads the organization's product development, marketing, knowledge publishing, professional learning, events and international business. Frank Menchaca has a deep background in information products and was the Executive Vice President of Cengage Learning. Additionally, Menchaca is notable for his degrees from New York University and Yale University, and his nomination in the Chief Sustainability certificate program at MIT.
“Expert names will be hosted”
The "International Automotive Engineering Conference - IAEC", which will be held for the seventh time this year, will be held at the Sabancı University Exhibition Center between 17-18 November 2022. Organized by the Automotive Industry Exporters' Association (OIB), the Automotive Industry Association (OSD), the Automotive Technology Platform (OTEP), the Automotive Vehicles Procurement Manufacturers Association (TAYSAD) in cooperation with the Automotive Engineers Association SAE International (Society of Automotive Engineers), the event was held in Turkey and abroad. It will host many names from around the world who are experts in their fields.
“Alternative fuel vehicles are on the agenda”
Sabancı University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Gunduz Ulusoy will take over. In IAEC 2022 this year; Topics such as “Circular Economy”, “Environmental Impact” (Carbon Neutral and Product Life Cycle), “Present and Future Prospects of Digital Transformation”, “Alternative Fuel Vehicles and Infrastructure”, “Formula Student” and “Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure” will be discussed.
