The commissioning ceremony of the snow-fighting and road maintenance vehicles purchased by the General Directorate of Highways in 2022 was held in Istanbul on Thursday, 17 November. Expressing that the General Directorate of Highways is constantly renewing its vehicle and machinery park in order to keep the roads open against snow and other natural disasters, Karaismailoğlu said that 81 percent of the machinery, vehicle superstructure and equipment taken into the machinery park this year are domestic production.
