Ortahisar Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç visited DOKAP President Hakan Gültekin in his office. Mayor Genç, who consulted with DOKAP President Gültekin regarding the Boztepe Walking Path and Observation Terrace Project, one of the vision projects of Ortahisar Municipality, stated that the project will increase the tourism potential of the city.
President Genç also thanked our Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum and Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank for their moral and material support to the project.
Announcing that 10 million TL financial support will be given to the Boztepe Walking Road and Observation Terrace Project within the scope of the protocol signed by DOKAP and Ortahisar Municipality, Mayor Genç said, “DOKAP is always one of our biggest support points in the projects we have implemented or will implement in our district. We attach great importance to the support of DOKAP, especially in our tourism-oriented projects. DOKAP has accomplished great things so far in creating new employment areas and contributing to the economy in our region. Drinking water and sewerage, which are both infrastructure projects; We are very pleased to see that DOKAP has pioneered very successful works in areas related to superstructure such as tourism, accommodation and transportation. This encourages us to implement our projects.” said.
“IT WILL BE A SYMBOLIC PROJECT”
Stating that the Boztepe Walking Path and Observation Terrace Project was welcomed and supported with interest by the city stakeholders from the first moment it came to the fore, Mayor Genç said, “When we conveyed the Boztepe Walking Path and Observation Terrace Project to our esteemed President, they showed great interest and interest. They also stated that they would help with financing. In this context, we signed a protocol. DOKAP will provide a total of 5 million TL financing support, 5 million TL in the first stage and 10 million TL in the second stage. With these supports, we will add value to the value of our Boztepe, one of the most beautiful places in our city. Indeed, from the first moment our project came to the fore, it was highly embraced and supported by our city stakeholders. With the completion of our project, Trabzon will gain a new tourism destination area. And we will have implemented a symbolic project that will create added value for our city as well. Hopefully, by the end of the year, we will complete our project with all its units and put it into service. I would like to express once again that I am very happy and excited to be realizing a new vision project for our city.” he said.

Noting that the Boztepe Walking Path and Viewing Terrace Project will further increase the attractiveness of Trabzon, DOKAP President Hakan Gültekin said, “It is very important to realize projects of this nature in our city. In Trabzon, where tourism potential is increasing every year, such projects create new attraction points. This reflects positively on the tourism potential.
