Ankara Metropolitan Municipality EGO General Directorate, which has signed innovative projects to better serve the citizens of the capital, has started the assembly of new and modern bus stops at 315 points. All of the new stops, which are specially designed to prevent citizens from being affected by adverse climatic conditions, have WI-FI, LED screen and lighting, a disabled and USB charging unit, while their energy is provided from the solar panel.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality EGO General Directorate continues to sign new projects while providing a more modern, environmentally friendly, comfortable and safe transportation to the residents of the Capital.
Bringing the capital city residents together with the latest technology buses, EGO General Directorate started the assembly of modern and user-friendly new bus stops in order to increase the service quality.
BOTH COMFORTABLE AND TECHNOLOGICAL
The new bus stops, which will be assembled at 315 points used extensively by the citizens in the first place, consist of 6 types of designs. All bus stops have WI-FI, LED screen and lighting, as well as a USB charging unit for the disabled. The stops, which provide their energy from solar panels, have been specially designed so that citizens are not affected by adverse climatic conditions.
WILL BE POSITIONED TO 5 POINTS
The stops, which are a first in Ankara with their automatic doors and air conditioning, will be installed at 5 different points.
While the installation of a total of 6 stops, one of which is closed and one is totem, has been completed so far, while the remaining 309 stops are planned to be completed by January 16, 2023.
