Izmir Metropolitan Municipality's “You, Me, All of us! The environmental awareness event, which was started with the slogan "Our Clean Izmir", was held in Ulukent region of Menemen. Over a hundred staff cleaned up, the lawn in the area was mown, trees were pruned and rubble removed.

The Metropolitan Municipality teams finally landed in the Ulukent region of Menemen with over a hundred personnel. As part of the cleaning work carried out in the 30 August, 29 October, 9 September and Istiklal neighborhoods, garbage was collected, the grass was cut, the trees were pruned and the rubble was removed. The cleaning work in Menemen was carried out with 7 different teams and 20 cleaning vehicles.

Head of Climate Change and Zero Waste Department Kemal Kılıç stated that they set out with the clean city movement and said, “This movement will continue until we reach a clean İzmir step by step in every district. It is a town with the plains of Menemen. We also worked with our excavation and rubble cleaning teams to remove debris pollution. We also carried out field cleaning in the Bird Sanctuary area. Our citizens are very satisfied. We also expect support from our citizens. We are ready to clean. We ask them not to pollute it either," he said.
