With the main sponsorship of Adana Metropolitan Municipality, the 4th Mediterranean Surf Casting Tournament, which will be held at the Zeytinbeli Beach in the Yumurtalık District of Adana, will start on Saturday, November 26, 2022.
The tournament, in which 25 competitors from 150 amateur sport fishing associations affiliated to the Amateur Sportive Anglers' Federation (ASC ASOF ISCOBDER ABAF) will compete in 75 lanes, will start at 17.00 with the drawing of lots. The tournament will end on Sunday at 06.00, when fishing rods are collected and 20 field referees complete the measurements. At 08.30 the prizes will find their owners.
In the name of CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and Adana Metropolitan Mayor Zeydan Karalar, various awards and plaques will be given to the winners of the tournament.
150 anglers from Antalya, Kocaeli, İzmir, Mersin, İstanbul, Adana and Osmaniye, who have been successful in surf casting competitions, will participate in the tournament.
Mediterranean Surf Casting Regional President Salim Karabucak, reminding that many fishing records were broken in the tournaments held in Adana in this branch, “I hope we will renew these records this year as well.
