“Accessible Life and Playground” built in Batıkent Ali Dinçer Recreation Area with the cooperation of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB), Ankara City Council and Ankara Emek Rotary Club was put into service.
To the opening of the park; Electric Gas Bus (EGO) General Manager Nihat Alkaş, Halk Ekmek General Manager Tamer Eski, ABB and EGO bureaucrats, Ankara City Council President Halil İbrahim Yılmaz, AKK Disabled Council President Ersan Petekkaya, Ankara Emek Rotary Club executives and members and citizens attended.
In his speech at the opening ceremony, Alkaş said, “Since the first day we took office as Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, we have been working hard to reach our President, Mr. Mansur Yavaş's goal of the unhindered Capital,” while AKK President Halil İbrahim Yılmaz said, “Today, we are living a valuable example of participatory culture. The Metropolitan Municipality showed that it is accessible and contactable by listening to the demands of our friends.” used his statements.
Stating that they have been working on this park project for about a year, AKK Disabled Council President Ersan Petekkaya said, "Here, besides our disabled children, our children without any disabilities will also do activities with the technique we call 'reverse fusion'." said.
Physiotherapist Abdülkerim Değirmenci stated that they want private education institutions, kindergartens and schools to benefit from the “Accessible Life and Playground” and said, “We designed the park in integrity by anticipating the needs of our children with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, special children and the elderly. As physiotherapists in this park, we will provide training to our children and their families in need, and we will teach exercises on the tracks here.” he said.
