The Metropolitan Municipality continues its preparations for the new season at Yedikuyular Ski Center, one of the region's most popular winter tourism facilities. Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts to increase the tourism potential of the city. Kahramanmaraş's tourism infrastructure continues to be strengthened with works carried out in the city's tourism areas such as Şair Hill, Ali Kayası Glass Terrace and Tourism Facilities, Yeşilgöz and Çamlıca. The preparations for the season continue rapidly at Yedikuyular Ski Center, one of the most popular winter tourism venues in the region. The teams are preparing Yedikuyular for the season with their infrastructure and superstructure works at the tourism facility. In this context, the routine maintenance of the chairlift, teleski and walking belts in the ski center and the necessary arrangements on the ski slopes were carried out. While the width of the existing tracks at the facility was doubled, a new track with a length of 2 meters was added to the ski center.
One of the Most Popular Winter Tourism Facilities of the Region
Stating that Yedikuyular Ski Center is one of the most popular winter tourism areas of the region, Metropolitan Mayor Hayrettin Güngör said, “Our Kahramanmaraş has historical places and natural beauties that many cities do not have. As the Metropolitan Municipality, we are trying to increase the tourism potential and added value of these areas with our transformation works. Yedikuyular Ski Center is one of these places. Yedikuyular is one of the most frequented winter tourism centers of the region. It is a place frequently visited by our fellow countrymen as well as our guests from outside the city, as it is very close to the city center and easy to access.”
We Increase the Tourism Potential of Yedikuyular
Providing information on the ongoing and planned investments at the facility, President Güngör said, “We are rapidly continuing our efforts to further increase the tourism infrastructure and potential of our Yedikuyular Ski Center. We increased our visitor capacity by increasing the number of eating and drinking places and accommodation areas in our ski center. We continue to work to increase this number even more. We will make Yedikuyular Ski Center more attractive by increasing the length and number of tracks. We aim to transform Yedikuyular into a place that can be visited not only in winter but also in all seasons. Hopefully, thanks to the projects we will implement, we will increase the tourism potential of our Yedikuyular Ski Center and make it one of the leading winter tourism venues not only in the region but also in Turkey.”
