In addition, it has been announced by your Ministry and the Ministry of Treasury and Finance that 2020 billion dollars of this cost of the company, which won the tender for 2.3 billion Euros in 2.1, will be covered by British foreign financing. However, due to the change in the exchange rate during the process, the company that won the tender demanded a raise in the project budget and it was communicated by the company that this figure was expected to be 1,5 million dollars. Ankara-İzmir High Speed ​​​​Train Line Project was founded on September 21, 2013. Although it was announced that it would be completed in 2015, it was postponed until 2018 due to the problems experienced. The 640 kilometer high-speed train line project could not be completed for about 10 years.
