Stating that Konya is among the important centers of transportation networks, President Erdoğan said, “Today, we are inaugurating a project that is truly a proud work with its 64-kilometer road, 1371-meter-long Eğiste Hadimi Viaduct, 420-meter tunnel, and 6-kilometer Çumra connection.” he said.

Stating that the Eğiste Hadimi Viaduct is the biggest bridge of our country in its field with 42 middle and 166 side abutments varying between 8 and 2 meters in height, President Erdoğan said, “Thus, we will open a new trade and tourism channel between our Central Anatolia and the Mediterranean Regions. we earn. “he used the phrases.

The viaduct will serve the traffic as a total of 4 lanes.

Egiste Hadimi Viaduct, which provides the passage of Egiste Stream; It was built with the balanced cantilever construction method on 42 middle and 166 side pillars with heights varying between 8 and 2 m. With these features, the viaduct is the longest balanced cantilever bridge with the highest pillars in our country. The viaduct, which sits on the same foundation as a double road platform with a width of 12,5 meters and is designed as two different bridges, will serve the traffic as a total of 4 lanes.

Raised the physical and geometric standard of the route

With the project of 69,6 km in total, a significant part of the north-south axis connecting Konya to Alanya via Hadim has been turned into a divided road. .

It will be an alternative transit point from Central Anatolia to the Mediterranean

With the fast and comfortable transportation service established on the route, Konya-Karaman Ayr.-Belören-Hadim Road will be preferred more as an alternative transit point from Central Anatolia to the Mediterranean, and products that have an important place in the regional economy will be transported to domestic and foreign markets in a short time. .

A total of 31,5 million TL savings will be achieved annually

With the project, the existing road was shortened by 4,4 km, and the transportation time was reduced from 56 minutes to 36 minutes. Thus, a total annual savings of 16,5 million TL will be achieved, 15 million TL from time and 31,5 million TL from fuel; carbon emissions will be reduced by 3.073 tons per year.
