The support, which is applied as 0,75 lira per kilogram for trout breeders, will be applied as 50 liras for trout breeders with a project capacity of less than 1,5 tons per year, and 50 lira for those with a capacity over 1 tons. The support, which was applied as 10 cents per kilogram for mussel farming, was increased to 50 cents.

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Prof. Dr. Vahit Kirişci stated that they have increased the support given to trout and mussel farming.

Within the scope of agricultural supports, the support applied as 0,75 lira per kilogram for trout breeders was increased by 50 percent to 100 liras for trout breeders with a project capacity of less than 1,5 tons per year. The support within the same scope will be applied as 50 lira for breeders with a project capacity of more than 1 tons.

The support, which was applied as 10 cents per kilogram for mussel farming, was increased to 50 cents. The support, which was applied as 1,5 lira in the closed system and in new species, was increased to 2 liras for production in the closed system and to 3 liras for production in new species.

The support applied as 1 lira for fish farming in soil ponds was also 2 lira.

Stating that they have increased their support for trout and mussel farming, Kirişci wished the new support amounts to be beneficial to the breeders.
