In the last week, 2 thousand 597 irregular migrants were deported across the country. It was determined that 1390 of the immigrants were from Afghanistan and 426 of them were Pakistani nationals.

According to the video post made on the social media account of our Directorate of Migration Management, a total of 1853 irregular migrants, 165 from Afghanistan and 4 from Pakistan, were caught across the country in the last week.

As part of the fight against irregular migration, the number of irregular migrants sent back to their countries between January 1 and November 17 reached 58 thousand 568, 11 thousand 622 from Afghanistan and 104 thousand 272 from Pakistan. The deportation process of 18 thousand 135 foreigners continues.

3 thousand 214 irregular migrants are blocked from entering

Thanks to the security measures taken at the border, the number of irregular immigrants who were prevented from entering the country illegally in the last week was recorded as 3 thousand 214.

The number of irregular immigrants who were prevented from entering the country from New Year's to 17 November was 251.

On the other hand, there are 5 thousand 38 irregular migrants in removal centers, 3 thousand 890 from Afghanistan and 18 thousand 135 from Pakistan.
