Under the leadership of our President, we have brought many works to our nation in 507 years.” said.

Under the auspices of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, with the participation of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Minister Murat Kurum, the keys of 3 houses built in the new settlement area of Artvin's Yusufeli district will be delivered to the citizens on Tuesday, November 205.

In his statement, Minister Murat Kurum stated that Yeni Yusufeli was designed with an understanding that the citizens would be happy, and said, "We stood by our citizens in the resettlement project, just as we were together in a disaster or flood, where no one, no place was left behind. When you look at our Yusufeli in the past years, it has moved many times and I hope this move will be the last. New Yusufeli; young people, our citizens, our sisters are happy; It has been designed with the understanding that our tradesmen can spend time in sports fields and schools, do sports, and trade in a peaceful manner, and I hope we will deliver this project to our citizens properly.” used the phrases.

“Under the leadership of our President, we have brought many works to our nation in 20 years”

Minister Kurum said, "When we started the Yusufeli project, we heard the criticism of 'how will you do it' in the past as well as today," and continued his words as follows:

“We said, 'Well, we'll do it'. Under the leadership of our President, we have brought many works to our nation in 20 years. We said that we will build and deliver the new Yusufeli and our dam. We derive our strength from our nation and our state. Our ancestors and ancestors gave great struggles in these lands. These mountains are the areas where Mehmet the Conqueror walked through Erzurum to conquer Trabzon. Again, the mountains where Kanuni and Yavuz made the eastern expedition. These expeditions were made from the foothills of these mountains. When you look at Yusufeli, when we go to Demirkent Town, we see our past going back to 1549 there. We have a mosque dating back to the Kanuni period, and we are carrying out the construction and revival of the new settlement area together with the understanding that will protect the historical artifacts and the values we received from our ancestors.”

Stating that 17 million cubic meters of excavation and 10 million cubic meters of filling were carried out in the works carried out in Yeni Yusufeli, Minister Kurum stated that 1,5 million square meters of settlement area was removed and 750 thousand square meters of this settlement area is green space.

“In the new settlement area; We have 2 thousand 698 residences, 285 commercial units, 37 industrial shops, a 25-bed state hospital, 24 high schools with 12 and 2 classrooms, and a vocational high school with 16 classrooms.

Providing information about the construction works in the new settlement area, the Minister Kurum said:

“In our new Yusufeli settlement area, 2 thousand 698 residences, 285 shops, an industrial site with 37 shops, a hospital with 25 beds, 24 high schools with 12 and 2 classrooms, a vocational high school with 16 classrooms, a secondary school with 12 classrooms, a primary school with 12 classrooms, a kindergarten, 100 students in our new Yusufeli settlement area, by our Presidency of TOKİ. We have also completed the construction of 32 public buildings, including the dormitory, health center, District Gendarmerie Command, mosque and Yusufeli Municipality Service Building.

We have completed 7 residences and 507 shops on site in 10 villages, namely Çeltikdüzü, Çevreli, Irmakyani, İşhan, Meşecik, Tekkale and Yeniköy, which are also outside our new settlement area, together with their social facilities.

Hopefully, with the presence of our President, we will deliver a total of 3 houses with their social facilities in our New Yusufeli settlement area, including our villages, to our rightful citizens.

We calculate the costs of the houses and workplaces we produce in new settlements over the construction costs. Like as we promissed; We deliver all our houses to the beneficiaries with no interest, 5 years grace period and 20 years maturity. We offer up to 65% discount for cash payments. Again, we provide discounts at varying rates for cash payments to be made within the first 60 months.

We are carrying out a project together with our Governor's Office and Special Administration for our non-entitled citizens who carry out their commercial activities in Yusufeli and the center. Within this framework, our Artvin Special Provincial Administration will carry out the construction of 140 shops and industrial sites within the body of our Governorship. We will move our shopkeepers, who have workplaces below, to the shops to be built by our private administration, and in this context, we have provided 20 million lira grant support and land allocation to our private administration. In this context, I hope we will start our construction within a month, and as soon as possible, we will have realized the areas where our tradesmen can continue their commercial activities with the industrial site, shop, in a way that will serve all our tradesmen there.”

“We will build our 100 social housing units with the help of our TOKİ Presidency so that our citizens who do not have a home can own a home”

Noting that social housing was also built in Artvin in the biggest social housing campaign in the history of the Republic, the Minister Kurum said, “There were demands from our citizens here. And within the framework of these demands, we will construct our 100 social housing units, which will be increased according to the needs, by our TOKİ Presidency so that our citizens who do not have a home can own a home. We have 520 households for each household, together with our AFAD, our Ministry, our General Directorate of Iller Bank, so that our citizens living in the villages can carry out production there and continue their livestock-related activities in order to ensure agricultural development. We will provide support to each household for 50 thousand liras in order to carry out agricultural activities within the framework of the instructions of our President.” he said.
