The heroic Turkish Armed Forces continues uninterrupted operations in the Claw series in northern Iraq.

With the Claw-Lock Operation launched on April 17, 2022, it was aimed to clear the terrorists in the Zap region and to lock the region against terrorism for the security of our borders. In the 7 months that have passed, our Mehmetçik continues to enter the terrorists' dens and to clear the region from terrorism in a difficult terrain and in difficult weather conditions.

With the arrival of the winter months, the weather conditions in the region have also become harsh. Mehmetçik, who works with the love of homeland and nation at an altitude of thousands of meters, carries out its operations on snowy terrain from time to time. In the Zap region, where the temperature is minus degrees, there is a thunderstorm and stormy weather in recent days. Commandos and Special Forces elements perform their duties heroically, fearlessly and in the best way in an area where heavy lightning strikes, visibility is narrowed due to fog, and the transition is difficult due to muddy and snowy terrain.
