Hatunsuyu Neighborhood Level Crossing Road Works Completed

Carry out works to solve the traffic problem in Malatya and to ensure a safer traffic flow Malatya Metropolitan Municipality has completed the road works on the railway level crossing route in Hatunsuyu district and put it into service.

As the current level crossing is narrow and cannot meet the needs due to today's traffic density, as a result of the initiatives of Metropolitan Mayor Selahattin Gürkan, the Hatunsuyu Level crossing has been rebuilt and the traffic in the region has been made safer. Following the completion of the railway level crossing in Hatunsuyu District, the level crossing connection roads were asphalted in accordance with the standards by the Metropolitan Municipality Road and Infrastructure Coordination Department and offered to the service of the citizens.

Demir: Traffic flow in the region has been made safer

Providing information about the works carried out, Head of Road and Infrastructure Coordination Department Hakan Demir said, “We continue our efforts to minimize the traffic problem experienced by our city, to gain new transportation networks, to increase the daily traffic comfort of our people by opening new arteries, in line with the targets set by our President. Under the leadership of our President, we continue to strike a scalpel at the problems that have accumulated over the years. One of them, the Hatunsuyu railway underpass, was a very dangerous crossing. As a result of the initiatives of our President, the gateway to the investment program has been standardized. Traffic flow in the region has become safer. As Malatya Metropolitan Municipality, we started the renovation works of our connection roads after the completion of the tube crossing works. While we were trying to ensure the safety of the tube passage by carrying out drainage works on the road, we also strengthened the rotten floors in the infrastructure of our road. We have also completed our hot asphalt coating works on our road route. Currently, our traffic flow is provided in a safer and more orderly manner. I wish good luck in our work," he said.
