HİSAR A+ and HİSAR O+ Systems actively participated in the Land Forces Air Defense Command and Control Exercise. HİSAR A+ (Low Altitude Air Defense Missile System) and HİSAR O+ (Medium Altitude Air Defense Missile System) Systems, which were developed with domestic and national resources and entered the inventory as of 2021, continue to impress with their capabilities.
HİSAR A+ and HİSAR O+ air defense missile systems, which are an important step in Turkey's layered air defense, were delivered to the Turkish Armed Forces with all their elements. The HİSAR O+ air defense system had destroyed the high-altitude high-speed target in the last acceptance shot before entering the inventory in December 2021. The HİSAR O+ system, with all its elements, was delivered to the Land Forces Command at full capacity and started to operate.
According to the statement made by the Ministry of National Defense on their social media accounts, HİSAR A+ and HİSAR O+ Systems actively participated in the Land Forces Air Defense Command and Control Exercise organized by the Land Forces Command.

Within the scope of the exercise, HİSAR A+ and HİSAR O+ elements proved their capabilities in tactical use once again, demonstrating that they are a serious power multiplier in the country's air defense. Along with mass production activities for systems, work on new capabilities continues at full speed.
HİSAR A+
After the Missile Launching Systems working in coordination with the Firing Management Device in the HİSAR A+ Project and the missiles entered the inventory, the Self-Propelled Autonomous Low Altitude Air Defense Missile System (Autonomous HİSAR A+), which includes all the necessary subsystems to be able to function alone, was also delivered. As of July 2021, all elements of the HİSAR A+ System were delivered to the Turkish Armed Forces. Autonomous HİSAR A+ will perform the air defense mission of armored mechanized and mobile units. The system comes to the fore with its ability to move in difficult terrain conditions, change positions quickly, short reaction times and perform a task alone.
HİSAR O+
The HİSAR-O+ system has 18 (3 launcher vehicles) at battery level and 54 (9 launcher vehicles) interceptor missiles at battalion level as standard. The system, which has a fighter jet detection and tracking distance of 40-60 km, can track >60 targets. The system has a maximum range of 25 km with IIR guided missiles and 25-35 km with RF guided missiles.
The HİSAR O+ Air Defense Missile System had succeeded in destroying the high-speed target at high altitude in the last acceptance shot before entering the inventory. Thus, HİSAR O+ had completed its acceptance activities and was ready for duty with all its elements and at full capacity. HİSAR A+ was first delivered to HİSAR air defense missile systems. The long-range air defense system, SİPER, whose test firing continues, is aimed to be ready for use in 2023.
