In these months, the most sold fruit was melon, and the vegetable was tomato. Capital residents consumed more than 13 thousand tons of melons and over 23 thousand tons of tomatoes in September and October.

While melon was followed by grapes and tangerines, the most consumed vegetables after tomato were potatoes, peppers and cucumbers.

Bonito was the choice of the people of Ankara for fish, which is a quality protein source and rich in minerals and vitamins. More than 3 tons of acorns were sold in September and October.

In the most sold fish species, sardines took the second place with approximately 500 thousand tons, and anchovy took the third place with 412 thousand tons.
