Aftershocks continue after the 5.9 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Düzce in the morning. Education was suspended for one day in four cities.
After the earthquake with a magnitude of 04.08 that occurred at 5.9 in the morning, the training was interrupted for one day in Düzce, Bolu, Sakarya and Zonguldak.
Duzce Governor Cevdet Atay made a statement on his social media account, "Due to the earthquake, education was suspended for one day in all educational institutions throughout our province for precautionary purposes. Disabled and pregnant public personnel working in the public sector will also be considered on administrative leave. Congratulations to all of us.” used the phrases.
Sakarya Governor Çetin Oktay Kaldirim announced that due to the earthquake that occurred in Düzce Gölyaka, education was suspended for one day in the city. In a statement on his social media account, Kaldirim said:
“Dear fellow citizens, due to the earthquake that occurred in Düzce and felt in our city, education was suspended for 23 day on 2022 November 1 in all educational institutions throughout our city for precautionary purposes. Get well soon to all my fellow countrymen.”
