60 Million Euro Investment from Mars Logistics

Mars Logistics, one of Turkey's leading logistics companies, continues to strengthen its power with its investments. Having purchased 650 trailers, 250 tractor trucks and 90 wagons, the company invested 60 million euros in total.

Mars Logistics Board Member Gökşin Günhan said, “We are expanding our self-owned fleet, which currently consists of 3.202 units, by purchasing 650 trailers, 250 tractor trucks and 90 wagons” and explained the reason for their fleet investment as follows: “We realize our investments according to the demands, projects and logistics strategies of our customers. Growing together with our customers, facilitating their business processes, and establishing the most efficient logistics processes for them are among our first priorities.”

Saying that they recently opened a warehouse in Paris, Günhan said, “In parallel with our company's growth strategies, we established companies in Spain and France. With the warehouse we opened in Paris in the past months, we have started to offer our customers wider opportunities by increasing our service diversity in the region and improving our infrastructure.” said. Günhan also provides partial transportation, dealer stock management, distribution to dealers, warehousing, order preparation, etc. in the country. He underlined that they will continue to grow and open transfer centers in the Domestic Distribution Channels operations, where they provide many services.

Günhan said that the intermodal transportation model is gaining more importance day by day due to its environmental friendliness and operational advantages, and that it is preferred more and more by customers. Günhan stated that as Mars Logistics, they expect to close this year with a consolidated turnover of 500 million Euros and said, “We provide import, export, storage, domestic distribution services to all sectors with our more than 2.000 colleagues, 37 branches and warehouses in Turkey and abroad, but our business volume is large. some of them are automotive and textile sectors. We provide services to approximately 500 companies in all sectors, including approximately 2.000 companies in the automotive sector and 8.000 companies in the textile sector.”
