Capital's 5 Whites Introduced to Children with Theater

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to introduce the Ankara rabbit, Angora goat, Angora pigeon, Angora cat and Ankara bee (5 Whites of the Capital) to children with the theater, which are among the symbols of Ankara. While the children of the capital have the opportunity to see the animals up close, they reinforce what they have learned with the theater play.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to organize events to transfer values ​​that have an important place in the ancient history of the capital to future generations.

The Department of Health Affairs continues to introduce the Ankara rabbit, Angora goat, Angora pigeon, Ankara bee and Ankara cat, which are endemic species of Ankara's important symbols, to the students with the play staged by the actors of the Capital City Theaters.

CHILDREN OF THE CAPITAL MEET WITH ANIMALS OF ENDEMIC SPECIES

The Metropolitan Municipality, which continues its efforts to protect the endemic animal species that are endangered and have historical importance in the Capital; It brings Angora rabbit, Angora goat, Angora pigeon, Angora bee and Angora cat together with the children of the Capital city.

In the event, which was held to protect and promote Ankara's historical and cultural values, children had the opportunity to see the animals brought to their schools closely, while reinforcing what they learned with the theater play in which the 5 Whites of the Capital were supported by art.

Saying that they will continue to attend schools, Head of Health Affairs Department Seyfettin Aslan said, “As Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, we always protect the ancient values ​​of Ankara. We were extremely happy with the happiness our students showed after watching the play about the 5 Whites of the Capital. So we need to continue such activities. With this game, we introduce the animals, which we describe as the 5 most important whites of Ankara, to children.”

Students from Başkent experienced excitement and happiness together, seeing endemic animals closely in the area established in the school garden. Eryaman ABC Schools Primary School Principal Sevtap Yalçın said, “It was a very enjoyable event. Our students need to be made aware. Thanks to this event, they saw 5 whites live. We hosted live animals in our school, and they also learned about the lives of animals through the theater. For us, we have crowned the Outdoor School Day with this event. Thank you very much for offering us this opportunity”, while the writer and director of the play, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality City Theaters Deputy Artistic Director Erdal Ozan Metin said:

“We have signed a joint project as the Department of Health Affairs and the Department of Culture and Social Affairs. I always think that art is important in the way of expressing things well, healthily and honestly. And when we tell this to children, we are very happy.
