394 New EGO Buses on the Capital Roads

The bus fleet of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality EGO General Directorate has been renewed for the first time since 2013. All of the new 394 red buses, which were purchased in order to both reduce the density due to the increasing population and increase comfort in public transportation, started their services. Announcing that all of the new buses have been delivered, ABB President Mansur Yavaş announced on his social media accounts, "We will minimize passenger complaints."

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which aims to provide faster and more comfortable public transportation opportunities to Ankara residents by starting a mobilization in public transportation, continues to renew its vehicle fleet.

Due to the increasing population density, EGO General Directorate, which took action to encourage the citizens of the Capital to use public transportation and to provide comfortable travel, renewed its bus fleet as the first thing.

EGO General Directorate added 2013 new buses to its fleet, replacing the vehicles that were last purchased in 394 and completed their economic life. While the purchase and delivery process, which took 3 years, was completed, all 394 buses were distributed to the regions with passenger density and started their services.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş used the following statements in his social media accounts:
“The delivery of 2013 EGO buses, which were purchased in Ankara for the first time since 394, has been completed. We are starting the era of smart cameras that can detect even potholes on our buses, where we offer free internet access. We will minimize passenger complaints.”

NEW BUSES HAVE TECHNOLOGICAL EQUIPMENT worthy of the capital city

EGO General Directorate purchased modern buses equipped with technological innovations instead of vehicles that have completed their economic life. Drivers were also trained in order to use the buses more healthily.

Buses that attract attention with their red color; low-floor equipment suitable for disabled passengers, USB charging unit, camera security system, passenger information system and panic button.
