When is the KYK Scholarship and Loan Application?
No announcement has been made yet for the 2022-2023 KYK scholarship and loan application dates. The academic calendar in universities started in September. In the same process, successive KYK dormitory applications were concluded and students settled in KYK dormitories. Last year, applications for scholarships were received on 5-8 November. Applications are expected to be received in November this year.
When is KYK Scholarship and Loan due?
KYK loan and scholarship payments are made according to the last digit of the TR ID number. The payment days are as follows:
- Contacts with the last digit 0: 6th day of the month
- Contacts with the last digit 2: 7th day of the month
- Contacts with the last digit 4: 8th day of the month
- Contacts with the last digit 6: 9th day of the month
- Contacts with the last digit 8: 10th day of the month
How to Apply for E-State KYK Scholarship?
Scholarship/loan applications are received through e-Government every year between the dates announced to the public through written and visual media.
As a result of the evaluation, the work and transactions of the students who are allocated scholarships or credits are detailed on the result explanation page. Students who are entitled to receive a scholarship or loan are required to complete the "commitment approval" process on the scholarship/loan approval process screen via e-Government between the specified dates. Students who do not approve the undertaking will not be paid.
The priority students in the scholarships are as follows;
- Martyr children, (If the martyr is single, his single brother)
- Veteran children (if the veteran is single)
- Students who are found to be 40% or more disabled with a medical board report,
- Those whose parents have passed away
- Those who have completed their high school and equivalent education by sheltering in Orphanages affiliated to the Ministry of Family and Social Policies,
- Those who have completed their high school and equivalent education at Darüşşafaka High School,
- Students who are amateur national athletes
How Much is KYK Scholarship and Loan Amount?
- Licence: 850 TL
- Degree: 1700 TL
- Doctorate: 2.550 TL
Scholarship payments are made 12 times in an academic year.
In which cases is the loan cut off?
- Leaving, dismissal or temporary suspension from the educational institution,
- Withdrawal, permission, freeze registration,
- Not attending education institution due to health reasons,
- Closure of the educational institution
- Obtaining an "indefinite expulsion penalty" from the dormitories affiliated to the Ministry,
- In case of conviction with a final sentence, students' loans are cut off.
In What Circumstances Is the Scholarship Terminated?

When Are Scholarship/Loan Payments Made?
Students who will receive scholarships/credits for the first time are paid during the normal education period as of the beginning of the academic year (October) they apply for. These students are paid between the 6th and 10th days of each month according to the last digit of their TR ID number.
What needs to be done for the loan to be transformed into a Bursa?
From those whose status changed later while taking a loan; (priority scholarship students) loans are converted into scholarships as of the payment period following the change in the status of the students, provided that this situation is documented. Students in this situation should apply with a petition or in person to the address of the General Directorate.
