Turkey-Iraq Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TISIAD) held the '6. hosted the Turkey-Iraq Trade and Investment Summit.
To the summit; Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government (IKRG) Minister responsible for Ethnic and Religious Formations Aydın Maruf, KRG Development Minister Dana Abdulkerim, Süleymaniye Governor Heval Ebubekir, Ministry of Trade Export General Manager Mehmet Ali Kılıçkaya, TISİAD President Mehmet Salih Çelik, TISİAD High Advisory Board Chairman Mehmet Selahattin Balkan , TISIAD Scientific Committee President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Özer and business people attended.
In his speech at the opening of the summit, TISİAD President Mehmet Salih Çelik, who drew attention to the importance of Turkey and Iraq, said that the two countries strengthened and continued to develop their economic ties.
Steel; Expressing that they are proud of holding the summit as TISIAD enters its 10th year, he said, “We are trying to make our association known in Iraq, the country to which our country exports the most after European Union countries, and in the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government, and to be in the economic activity areas between the two countries. ” said.
CUKUROVA SIFED President Hüseyin Winter also stated that Çukurova Region is the capital of agriculture and agricultural products trade because it is one of the most fertile plains in the world. He stated that North Africa is the center of trade with European countries.
After the speeches, a cooperation protocol was signed between Duhok Chamber of Commerce and TISIAD.
