The Trans-Caspian International Transport Route Association (TITR), which covers the countries on the route of the Middle Corridor, which connects Asia and Europe in the shortest and most advantageous way, held its general assembly meeting at least once every three months on 20-21 October 2022. It will take place in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Mainly TCDD Transportation, Azerbaijan Railways Company, Azerbaijan Caspian Sea Shipping Company, Aktau International Sea Trade Port National Company, Baku International Maritime Trade Port Company, Georgian Railways Company, Kazakhstan Railways National Company and Ukraine Railways Company TITR located on the Middle Corridor route As permanent members of the Union, they will be present at the meeting.

At the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route Union General Assembly, where TCDD Transport General Manager Ufuk Yalçın will attend, the implementation of an effective tariff policy in freight transport services, increasing the competitiveness of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route compared to alternative routes by improving the prices of distribution costs and integrated services will be discussed. .

As it is known, the TITR International Association, held in Astana in 2013, II. Within the scope of the International Transport and Logistics Business Forum “New Silk Road”; It actually started its activities in 2017 with the agreement to establish a Coordination Committee for the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Georgia Railways.

The Union stands out as an organization that provides and represents the cooperation of many countries and companies on the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, thus reviving the route of the historical Great Silk Road.
