Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç held a meeting on the 5th Stage of the Rail System Talas Mevlana-Furkan Doğan Tram Line. Kayseri Urban Rail Transport System 5th Stage, including the Martyr Furkan Doğan Station and the electromechanical works with 5,5 passenger stations, 9 underground well tanks, a water tank and 3 transformer centers along the route of approximately 3 kilometers to Talas Anayurt region. An additional rail system line is being built.
The Metropolitan Municipality, which has expanded its rail system transportation network, continues the construction works of the 5,5 kilometer Martyr Furkan Doğan-Talas Mevlana Rail System Line. In this context, while the landscaping, excavation and filling works have come to the stage of completion, the reinforced concrete works of 6 stations have also been completed.
Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç held a meeting with Gülermak-YDA officials and was briefed on the 5th Stage of the Rail System Talas Mevlana-Furkan Doğan Tram Line.
President Büyükkılıç, who evaluated the last point reached in the works with the authorities at the construction site of Gülermak-YDA companies and received comprehensive information about the works, stated that the work on the expansion of the tram line in Kayseri continues rapidly and said, “As it will be remembered, the Belsin-Kumsmall line is ready for test drives. has become. Hopefully, the work on the second line of our Talas, known as the Furkan Doğan-Mevlana line, continues rapidly. It is shared that at the end of 2022, hopefully for the first months of 2023, the test drive will be implemented here as well.”
President Büyükkılıç thanked the contractor companies and infrastructure organizations and said, “Our contractor companies are working fast day and night. Necessary infrastructure works and arrangement works on Umut Street and Özal Street, which are the expectations of our citizens, continue rapidly. We believe that by the end of November, these streets will be completely recovered and the work will be finished. The works of our tram line are also continuing rapidly. I would like to thank our contractor companies, Gülermak and YDA. Thank you to our team. I would like to thank the teams for the coordinated work of our KASKİ, Kayserigaz, Türk Telekom and other infrastructure organizations.”

President Büyükkılıç wished that the works will be completed without any accident and wished the tram line to be beneficial.
