'Private Transportation' Service for University Students in Kayseri

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Inc. Special bus services are organized for students who prefer universities in the city to reach the dormitories directly from the bus station. Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç made a statement on the subject, emphasizing the importance they attach to young people and said, “Our students are our bright future. The service we provide to them is our priority. As you know, the discounted monthly subscription card fee was recently reduced from 155 TL to 100 TL. Now, we organize special flights from the bus station for university students who prefer our city, so they can reach their dormitories directly without wasting more time.”

Kayseri Transportation Inc., which provides information about the expedition lines and other services. General Manager Mehmet Canbulut said, “We were transporting our citizens directly from the City Terminal to the Talas region. However, these days, when university students coming to our city get on our buses, we immediately change our line plan and organize expeditions to pass in front of the dormitories. This practice will continue as long as there is a student population.”

7 STUDENTS BENEFIT FROM TEMPORARY PROCESSING POINTS

Stating that they also offer easy and fast access to public transportation cards, Canbulut said, “We have created temporary processing points for our students to complete their visa and new transportation card purchases without having to come to the city center. We strive to offer Kart38 services at many points, from the Terminal, which is the first point our students set foot in Kayseri, to their campuses and the regions where their dormitories are located. For now, 7 students have obtained Kart100 transportation cards from our temporary transaction points, and we will continue our efforts to make the lives of our students and Kart38 users easier.”
