After the Presidential Decision in Kaynarca-Pendik-Tuzla Metro, the contractor company withdrew from the construction of the metro. Now, IMM is restarting the works on the Pendik Merkez-Kaynarca Center-Fevzi Çakmak Line, which constitutes the first stage of the rail system, within a month. Within the scope of work, Kadıköy – Tavşantepe Metro will extend 1 station until Kaynarca and will reach the Tuzla border. When the metro is completed, it will be integrated with 5 separate lines.

HOW DID THE PROCESS WORK?

In the Kaynarca-Pendik-Tuzla Metro, the tender of which was made in March 2017, the production was stopped in the same year with the Presidential Decision. Ekrem İmamoğlu IMM under the management of IMM, by providing 2020 million Euros of foreign finance in 120, restarted the construction work of the 1st phase of the line.

After the President's Decision No. 15 published in the Official Gazette on April 2022, 31810, the contractor company that built the subway on June 3, 2022, used its right to liquidate unilaterally and without the approval of the IMM.

While the works in the Kaynarca-Pendik-Tuzla Metro continued intensively and the 1st stage progress rate was 33 percent, the manufacturing was liquidated in July 2022.

Taking action quickly for the new tender, IMM received the Ministry's approval for the re-tender of the line on 18 August 2022, in accordance with the President's Decision. On 14-16 September, the 1st Stage (Pendik Center- Kaynarca Center-Fevzi Çakmak Line) tender was held and the bids were collected.

On September 30, 2022, a contract was signed with Özgün İnşaat Taahhüt Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd Şti, which was determined as the new contractor company, with a value of 2 billion 896 million 691 thousand TL + VAT. The construction works of the line will be restarted quickly within a month.

TO BE FINISHED IN 2025

Kaynarca Station, which will be integrated with the 2 km long 5,1st Stage of Kaynarca-Pendik-Tuzla Metro with 1 stations, is aimed to be completed in 2025.

Within the scope of work, Kadıköy – Tavşantepe Metro will extend 1 station (1050 meters) until Kaynarca and will reach the Tuzla border. The construction of the second part, which will extend the remaining 5 stations until Tuzla, will begin after the 2024 local elections.

IT WILL BE INTEGRATED WITH 5 LINES

Kaynarca-Pendik-Tuzla Metro Line, at Tavşantepe Station Kadıköy- With the Kartal Metro and the Tavsantepe – Sabiha Gökçen Metro Line, the construction of which was completed at Kaynarca Central Station, and the Marmaray, High Speed ​​​​Train Line and sea routes at Pendik Central Station. İçmeler At the station, it will be integrated with Marmaray again.

TOURS WILL BE MADE WITHOUT TRANSFER

Kadıköy-When the integration with Tavsantepe Metro and Tavşantepe - Sabiha Gökçen Metro is achieved, the operating scenario will be as follows:

• Kadıköy A passenger leaving the station will be able to reach Sabiha Gökçen Airport directly. Similarly, direct transportation will be provided in the opposite direction. (currently without transfer)

• Kadıköy A passenger leaving the station without a stop İçmeler He will reach his station. Direct transportation will be provided in the opposite direction.

• A passenger leaving Pendik Central Station will be able to reach Sabiha Gökçen Airport directly. Direct transportation will be provided in the opposite direction.
