Torun thanked İmamoğlu and Gök for their cooperation and said, “Istanbul Metropolitan is in a big breakthrough. The gangrenous problems that have been waiting for years are being resolved. It is solved by considering the primary needs of the citizens, not with such crazy projects. A world record is currently being set in Istanbul. There are metro works on 10 separate lines. And many infrastructure issues have been fixed as well. Problems have been resolved in Üsküdar, Beşiktaş, where the sea meets the land, in many places and in many municipalities. And equal service goes to 39 districts. We believe that these studies will also shed light on our future.”
“WE HAVE 28 BILLION LIRA OF LOANS WAITING FOR APPROVAL”
Noting that the Nation Alliance municipalities continue their services despite the impositions and obstacles from the central government, Torun said, “At the moment, we unfortunately have a 28 billion lira loan pending approval. If these loans were approved, -looking at a single signature, friends- the transportation, infrastructure and environmental problems of our Istanbul, Muğla, Mersin and many other cities would be solved. After all, these services will go to our citizens. But unfortunately, an understanding does not approve of them. Let them not. But we believe that it will be up to the candidate of the Nation Alliance to approve this in the elections to be held in June 2023. Our President will be blessed," he said. Addressing the participants with the words “Good luck to you, good to be together”, Torun said, “I hope we will celebrate the anniversary of the founding of our Republic in the coming days. I believe that we will crown the Republic with democracy in its 100th year," he said.

And we commemorate with gratitude our martyrs who fought and sacrificed their lives in Sivas, especially in the liberation struggle, and our veterans who lost their lives afterwards. May the souls of our martyrs and veterans rest in peace. But he also had an economic struggle. Even at that time, we are at the home of the people of Divrigi, who contributed greatly to our liberation struggle by producing the precious gems of this beautiful city. In other words, we are among the people who produced the values that raised this country with Atatürk and his comrades in the struggle for liberation in its most difficult days. I'm proud for him, I'm happy for him."

“OUR EXCITEMENT HAS NEVER BEEN, WE WILL NOT”
“We will be in a great struggle to reach the second century of our country with enthusiasm and to reach very good days together. Our excitement has never stopped, never will. We are all people who have demonstrated together how we cooperate, especially in the struggle for democracy. Indeed, we have a lot of responsibility for the next century; especially to our children and youth. That's why, as a city of 16 million people in Turkey alone, we don't feel responsible for it. We strive to respond to requests from every municipality and institution that knock on our door from every corner of Turkey. Yesterday, we put into service a very valuable school named Mustafa Live Science and Art Center in Gümüşhane and entrusted it to the Ministry of National Education. In other words, one institution of our state contributed to another institution of our state. This is budget solidarity.
