Good Design/Good Design İzmir, organized for the seventh time by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mediterranean Academy, starts at 4 at Kültürpark Atlas Pavilion on 15.30 October. The theme of the series, which will host many events from workshops to exhibitions, from panels to movie screenings, has been determined as “Vital/Vital”. The series of events will end on October 15.
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality continues its works with the aim of transforming Izmir into a city of design and innovation. Organized for the seventh time by the Mediterranean Academy, Good Design/Good Design İzmir starts on Tuesday, October 4th at Kulturpark Atlas Pavilion at 15.30.
The theme of the event this year was determined as “Vital/Vital”. Under this theme, the possibilities of increasing “vital sensitivities” will be brought up as a contribution to the ethical and responsible journey of design. In this context, the event will include 12 workshops, 8 exhibitions, 13 panels/interviews and 1 movie screening. This year, the Aegean Clothing Manufacturers Association (EGSD) and the Izmir Italian Consulate will support the event. The series of events will end on October 15.
Making room for the target design
With the Good Design/Good Design İzmir event, it is aimed to create a focus for professional and theoretical discussions on design, to open up space for innovative studies, and to move design to a more central position on the public agenda.
