HUGO BOSS continues its investments in İzmir without interruption. The facility, which has been in the Aegean Free Zone since 1999, opened the combing factory, which is the 4th factory in the region. The facility, which created over 2022 new jobs in 1.000, plans to recruit 2023 new jobs by the end of 1.000.

HUGO BOSS Textile Industry, which has been operating in the Aegean Free Zone since 1999, is the main production platform of the group, especially in all ready-to-wear product groups for the European market. The production facility supports the HUGO BOSS Group in different product groups such as men's wear, women's wear, sportswear, shirts and combed cotton. The new combing factory, which was commissioned on an area of ​​4,5 m5000 with an investment of 2 million Euros, is the 4th factory in the HUGO BOSS Tekstil Sanayi campus. Today, the total number of employees of the company has reached 500, with the combing factory, which has close to 4700 employees. With the additional capacity increases to be made until the end of 2023, this number is planned to reach 5700.

Speaking at the opening, Arif Kaya, General Manager of HUGO BOSS Textile Industry; “As HUGO BOSS Tekstil Sanayi, which has been investing in the region for 23 years, we are very happy and proud to have opened our 4th factory today. Thanks to our talented human resources, industrial know-how and digital infrastructure, we are constantly expanding our product portfolio in line with the growth strategy of the HUGO BOSS Group. All of our employees in our factories have a great share in this value created for the region. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them as well.” he said.

Stating that the production facility has successfully carried out a very important mission in the region, Arif Kaya said, “We created more than 2022 new jobs in 1.000. We plan to add 2023 new employees to our team by the end of 1.000. In this framework, we recruit in many different areas, from information technologies to supply chain, from human resources to production management, as well as production operators.
