Emirates SkyCargo and United Cargo signed a Memorandum of Understanding immediately following a new and broader historic commercial agreement between the two global airlines.

Under the terms of the MOU, Emirates SkyCargo and United Cargo will work closely with each other on a wide range of issues, including the expansion of cargo interline options and pending regulations and block booking agreements. Thus, existing cargo interline agreements between the two air carriers will be enhanced, while providing cargo customers with greater access to a wider shared global flight network.

Nabil Sultan, Senior Vice President of the Emirates Cargo Division, said in a statement:

“As Emirates SkyCargo, we are committed to providing our customers with products and services of the highest standards by taking on a leading role in the global air transport industry. Our collaboration with United will allow us to deliver value to our customers and enable them to reach new markets faster.”

Jan Krems, President of United Cargo, said: “We at United are delighted to be working with Emirates SkyCargo as part of this MOU. In line with our shared commitment, we provide our customers with industry-leading solutions and look forward to working together in the future.”

United Cargo will have access to Emirates SkyCargo's high-frequency distribution network, using the under-flight cargo capacity of passenger flights to over 100 global destinations and 11 cargo aircraft. Emirates SkyCargo will have access to more than 200 cities in the US and 300 cities across five continents.
