Alternative Transportation to Bursa Mudanya is in Action

Manufacturing continues on the Emek-Şehir Hospital Rail System Line, which was designed by the Metropolitan Municipality in order to provide uninterrupted transportation to Bursa City Hospital, which has a total bed capacity of 6 in 355 different hospitals, which significantly draws the burden of Bursa's health services. The work on the Mudanya Highway of the 6.1-kilometer 4-station line, which was transferred to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure by the decision of the Council of Ministers, gained momentum. In order to accelerate the works, it has come to the agenda that the section of the Mudanya Highway direction 'between Özdilek AVM and the high-speed train line bridge' will be closed to traffic for 3 months. Before the plan is put into use, a 4-day trial application will be made 'to determine the effect of the closure on traffic flow'. In the trial practice, which will start on Saturday, October 15 (Tomorrow) at 20.00:3, transportation to Mudanya will be provided from different routes, especially the Geçit Ring Road. Following the vehicle counts and evaluations to be made in this process, it will be decided whether the road will be closed to traffic for XNUMX months.

Passage ring road in operation

Necessary alternatives for transportation to Mudanya were prepared by the Metropolitan Municipality so that the road closure to be made only in the direction of departure would not adversely affect the traffic flow. The most important alternative will be the Passage Ring Road until the trial application, which will last for 3000 days, is completed on the Mudanya road, which is currently used by 3500-4 vehicles at peak hours. Vehicles going from Bursa to Mudanya will be able to enter the Geçit Ring Road at the Mudanya Özdilek AVM lights and connect to the Mudanya road again under the high-speed train line bridge. The second alternative to reach Mudanya will be to use the Dereçavuş - Ahmetköy - Aksungur - Nilüferköy connection roads 'through Yunuseli - German Channel Seedde Road'. In addition, from the Yalova road, the Yeniceabat - German Channel connection road from the As Merkez junction will be a different alternative for 'going to Mudanya'. In addition, those coming from the Demirtaş Junction direction will be able to reach Mudanya after connecting to the Bademli bridge crossing by using the 'Çağlayanköy-Ahmetköy Road'.

Measures were taken for trouble-free transportation

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş said that a 4-day trial application will be made before the planned closure to accelerate the work on the rail system line. Stating that necessary evaluations will be made with vehicle counts on the Mudanya road during this period, President Aktaş said, “If it is decided that the traffic will be adversely affected in the evaluations, the 3-month closure will not be implemented. Our aim here is to accelerate the work on the rail system line even more. However, while doing this, we do not want the traffic flow to be disrupted. For this, we have prepared all the necessary alternative ways. We will make the final decision on the 3-month closure after this 4-day trial.”
