The 'Women and Fashion Show' held in Bursa as part of the 2022 Turkic World Capital of Culture events showcased the aesthetics and elegance of Turkish women in clothing, from Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan, from Azerbaijan to Bashkortostan.

Since Bursa is the Cultural Capital of the Turkish World, the Metropolitan Municipality, which has organized different organizations throughout the year, now hosted the Women and Fashion Show in the Turkish World. The fashion show within the scope of the 'International Symposium on Women and Fashion in the Turkic World', organized within the framework of the TÜRKSOY Ethno-Fashion Week events, was held at the UNESCO Square in front of the historical city hall in Sculpture. Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Halide Serpil Şahin and TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev also attended the fashion show; The works of famous designers from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tatarstan, Azerbaijan, Bashkortostan, Mongolia and Tiva republics were exhibited by 'models from the guest countries'. Aesthetics and elegance of Turkish women in clothing was revealed with the fashion show that lasted for approximately 1,5 hours.

In his speech at the opening of the fashion show, TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev said that they are very happy to be holding the organization that reflects the elegance of women in the Turkish world in Bursa, 'famous for its silk, fabric, textile and history'.

Halide Serpil Şahin, Deputy Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality, said, “Like the traces we leave in history, we leave good memories in the Turkish world with the programs we organize throughout the year.”
