Konya Metropolitan Municipality, which has not increased student boarding fees for 5 years and civilian boarding fees for 3 years, strengthened its fleet with new buses and signed model applications in public transportation in Turkey, also makes arrangements at stops within the scope of sustainable transportation. Applying the turnstile system, the first of which was implemented at Kültürpark bus stops, to Alaaddin bus stops, the Metropolitan reduced both the waiting time of the buses at the bus stop and their carbon emissions.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality, which has not increased student boarding fees for 5 years and civilian boarding fees for 3 years with the understanding of Konya Model Municipality in public transportation, is also working to increase transportation comfort while strengthening its fleet with new buses.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality, which makes arrangements at the stops within the scope of sustainable transportation, has also implemented the turnstile system at the Alaaddin stops, which is the largest transfer center after Kültürpark transfer center with 63 lines, 1.593 flights and 12 thousand passenger mobility.

A SAFE AND SYSTEMATIC ENVIRONMENT WAS ESTABLISHED

By combining bus lines with similar routes in the same turnstile, the turnstile system makes it easier for passengers to choose alternative lines. While the confusions during boarding and disembarking were eliminated thanks to this system, a safe and systematic environment took its place.

Metropolitan Municipality also canceled the third platform at Alaaddin bus stops in order to create a safer environment for other drivers and pedestrians in traffic.

COOLDOWN DECREASED BY 498 MINUTES

With the turnstile system created at the stop and the cancellation of the 3rd platform, the traffic density along the street was prevented, and the daily waiting time of the buses at the stop was reduced by 498 minutes. In this way, while the fuel consumption of the buses is reduced, the carbon emission during the waiting period has decreased by 53 thousand 351 grams, contributing to the protection of the environment.
