Organized under the leadership of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) with the aim of adding strength to the exports of the textile industry, Bursa Textile Show (BURTEX) Fair opened its doors for the 8th time. At the fair, where the heart of the sector beats, nearly 40 business people from 500 countries will hold bilateral business meetings with companies from Bursa for 3 days.
Bursa Textile Show Fair brought together industry representatives and foreign business professionals for the 8th time. Organized by KFA Fairs with the support of the Ministry of Trade, 133 companies presented their 2023-2024 autumn-winter fabric and accessory collections to the visitors. More than 40 foreign buyers from more than 500 countries attended the fair held at Merinos Atatürk Congress Culture Center. Also at the fair, foreign business professionals held bilateral business meetings with participating companies in cooperation with BTSO's Commercial Safari Project and two separate International Competitiveness Development (UR-GE) Projects for the textile industry and UTİB. The opening cocktail of Bursa Textile Show Fair, which has become one of the brand fairs of the sector, was held with the participation of the city protocol.

In his speech, BTSO Chairman of the Board İbrahim Burkay said that as BTSO, they carry out important projects for companies to open up to the world. Noting that the fair organization carried out as a chamber is one of the export-oriented projects, Burkay said, “We are organizing the Bursa Textile Show Fair for the 8th time. Our fair undertakes an important mission to strengthen Bursa's position as a production and export center. President Burkay also announced good news about the next fair organization in his speech. İbrahim Burkay said, “Bursa is taking firm steps towards becoming one of the most important centers of Turkey in fair and congress tourism. We also have companies that are on the waiting list. Hopefully, we will hold our next fair at the International Fair and Congress Center. Bursa Governor Yakup Canbolat stated that Bursa Textile Show Fair added strength to the exports of the sector and said, “An exciting fair was held. Business People from 40 Countries Came
After the speeches, the members of the protocol visited the companies that opened stands at the fair and examined the trend areas. More than 40 foreign business professionals from more than 500 target countries, including Russia, Spain, Italy and England, visit the fair, where the innovations in the sector and the fashion-shaping products of Bursa are exhibited. The fair, which is organized by the Global Fair Agency (KFA) Fair Organization company, is also supported by the Ministry of Trade, KOSGEB and UTİB. Bursa Textile Show, which will host its visitors for 3 days, will end on Thursday, October 20.
