Daylight Saving Time will continue in Turkey. With Europe's transition to winter time, the time difference between Turkey and Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland and Denmark will increase from 1 to 2, and to 3 with England. The change between summer and winter time has long been the subject of debate in Europe. Many people are uncomfortable with the forward and reverse of the clocks. The EU Commission launched an EU-wide online survey on the time change in 2018 after the debate escalated. 3 million people participated in the survey, of which about 4.6 million were from Germany alone.
