TAI Added Another New One To Its International Collaborations

Turkish Aerospace Industries announced that a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with Malaysia-based MIMOS.

Turkish Aerospace Industries added a new one to the developments in its relations with Malaysia. In this context, TAI announced that a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with MIMOS, known as Malaysia's national applied research and development center under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, and Malaysia's technology supplier.

Turkish Aerospace Industries announced on its official Twitter account that it has added a new one to its cooperation with Malaysia. “We have added a new one to our strong international collaborations. Aiming to contribute to Malaysia's aviation ecosystem, TAI made its first attempt in this field with SIRIM, Malaysia's Standardization and R&D organization. Within the scope of the agreement, TAI and Malaysia would cooperate on issues such as industrial standards development, Industry 4.0, machinery and manufacturing, design and analysis, as well as aviation R&D projects and training and consultancy in the field of aviation certification.

Turkish Aerospace Industries General Manager Prof. Dr. Temel Kotil stated that they are excited to sign the first bilateral agreement in the Malaysian office and said, “With this development, which will contribute to the development of Malaysia's aviation industry, we will realize a series of joint projects that will also benefit our company. As an important player in the world aviation ecosystem, we will continue to contribute to the capabilities of the two countries in this field.”

Subsequently, Kuala Lumpur University signed a cooperation agreement with the Malaysian Aviation Technologies Institute to develop research programs on technical and applied aviation education. University of Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Institute of Aviation Technologies is a university ranked among the leading universities in Malaysia.
