Altınordu Municipality has completed the first phase of the YOUTH VALLEY project, a new attraction and attraction center that will be the meeting point of young people, women, people from all walks of life and local and foreign guests, as a new and modern face of Altınordu, a new example of environmentally friendly practices.
With the street rehabilitation works carried out by Mayor Aşkın Ceremony in historical neighborhoods in accordance with the historical texture, the silhouette of the city, the urban aesthetics and identity, the green-intensity projects that will create natural campus areas that will be the center of social life in the city where historical neighborhoods have risen again, attracting and attracting each neighborhood according to its location. transforming them into centres.
CHANGE AND TRANSFORMATION IN ALTINORDU WAS CROWNED WITH A YOUTH VALLEY
With the project, Okullar street, which is between Alparslan Türkeş street and Kahraman Sağra street, was closed to vehicle traffic and pedestrianized. In the project, where the asphalt is removed and trees are planted, the concrete leaves its place to green, in addition to the green areas, squares, pools, fountains, sitting groups with dense green areas, a charging station for the disabled, a clock tower, a pedestrian path with a walking and disabled ramp, and a vertical garden, on an area of approximately 9 thousand square meters. 'YOU VALLEY', realized with bicycle paths, will add value to Altınordu's brand value.
One of these works that add value to the city, the new life and attraction area that emerged with the youth valley, where all generations from 7 to 70 can find something from themselves, in the area where the Municipality service building is located in Yeni Mahalle, one of the biggest neighborhoods of the city, received full marks from Altınordulu. .
INCREASING FROM 280 SQUARE METERS TO 3000 SQUARE METERS, THE GREEN AREA WILL BREATHE THE CITY
Altınordu Municipality, which has increased the green areas in the city with its environmentally friendly practices, has increased the existing 280 square meters of green area in the application area to 3000 square meters with this Project. The green area, rising in the heart of the city with 15 different types of sycamore, linden, citrus, magnolia, acacia and similar trees, gave a breath of fresh air to both the city and the citizens.
ALTINORDU BOTANICAL GARDEN HAS THREE NEW SQUARE WITH THE TASTE
With the concept of harmony with the city's texture, together with the urban aesthetics, 3 new squares have been added to the city with the valley project, which includes various social reinforcement areas as well as walking paths.
With the project, a square with an area of 109 m2 containing a dry pool as a water element surrounded by natural stone embankments, seating units and green space in the direction of Alparslan Türkeş Street, a clock tower at the intersection of Okullar Street and 312. Street, a large pergola, sitting groups, a vertical garden and greenery. A 223nd square with an area of 2 m2, surrounded by an area surrounded by a dry pool as a water element, and a 500rd square surrounded by sitting groups with a 2 m1050 ceremony area and 2 m3 dense green area on the parking lot in front of the municipality were created. The 3rd Square is like a miniature botanical garden with its diversity of plants.
The project, whose seating units and floor coverings were designed with special attention to the use of local materials such as natural stone and chestnut wood, received full marks from the citizens.
