At the ceremony to be held in Ankara Sincan Tulip Square, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum will hold the groundbreaking ceremonies with 17 cities simultaneously with live broadcast links.

In the statement of the Ministry, the following information was given about how many houses will be laid in which province:

“2 thousand 171 in Ankara, 595 in Zonguldak, 458 in Kırşehir, 210 in Kahramanmaraş, 265 in Aydın, 206 in Bolu, 206 in Konya, 364 in Afyonkarahisar, 158 in Diyarbakır, Uşak' The foundations of 158 houses in Erzurum, 158 in Muğla, 154 in Yozgat, 141 in Manisa, 78 in Amasya, 87 in Tunceli and 118 in Elazığ will be laid.”

“A record 7,5 million application”

The following details were shared in the statement, which stated that there have been 7,5 million applications for the "My First Home My First Work Place" project so far:

“With the giant project, 500 thousand social housing will be built. Citizens will be able to own houses with local and horizontal architecture, ground + 5 floors, zero waste compatible, energy efficient, climate friendly materials, equipped with renewable energy system, in 2 TL installments. With the project, 280 million land will be offered to the citizens. The lands will be delivered as electricity, water and stabilized road infrastructures have been completed, a zoning plan has been made and ready for construction. Houses can be built individually or jointly, not exceeding 1 floors. TOKİ will provide architectural, engineering and construction support. It can be paid in 5 years, interest-free and at a fixed price, in installments starting from 1.604 liras. In addition, with this project, TOKİ offers a workplace to our small and medium-sized industrialists for the first time since its establishment. This project will both enable our citizens to have a workplace and contribute to employment. There will be industrial areas that will accommodate dozens of different sectors, from small businesses dealing with repairs to auto repair shops, from furniture manufacturers to machine manufacturers. In the first stage, 10 thousand workplaces and 28 thousand workplaces in total will be established in 10 provinces.”

“900 billion giant investment”

In the statement, it was noted that the “My First Home, My First Workplace” project, which is a giant investment of approximately 900 billion liras, will accelerate the wheels of economy, industry and trade, as it will activate more than 450 sub-sectors with the multiplier effect. In the statement, which stated that the project is expected to lead to an economic activity of more than 2 trillion liras, it was reminded that it is expected to contribute at least 200 thousand new employments. In addition, it was emphasized that the project's social housing and safe workplaces will also play a pioneering role in the urban transformation of Turkey, which is an earthquake country.
