“Equivalent Gas Turbine Oil Development Cooperation Agreement” was signed between Koçak Speedol and TEI. Within the scope of the signed cooperation agreement, Koçak Speedol will develop oils to be used in TEI's gas turbine engines.
Speaking at the signing ceremony held on the second day of SAHA EXPO held at Istanbul Expo Center between 25-28 October, TEI General Manager Prof. Dr. Mahmut F. Akşit said, “We also observe the maximum rate of locality in the production of our engines that we design, develop and operate; it strives to develop all sub-systems, even raw materials, with national means; In this direction, we attach great importance to cooperation with our domestic producers. Our work with Koçak started for our piston engines, and with this agreement, the oils that we will use in our gas turbine engines will be developed and produced in Turkey.” said.
Reminding that they use Koçak Speedol Aero Ultra Diesel S170 engine oil in the TEI-PD170 Turbodiesel Aviation Engine within the scope of their existing cooperation, Akşit emphasized that the increasing cooperation between domestic companies is in the interest of our country and said, “We are also grateful to SAHA Istanbul, which enables such cooperation agreements. thank you." said.
