Speaking about the importance of having a suitable study program for the student, choosing the right resource and practicing in the YKS process, Duygu Çeviker, one of the Course Center Guidance Teachers, expressed that getting to know the exam well is one of the most important points of the YKS process. Solving the retrospective questions will reduce the student's excitement at the time of the exam; Stating that preparing in a working environment where the student feels good and is psychologically comfortable, Çeviker said, “Student's working with a very strict study program will cause them to break away from the process after a while. It is necessary to balance social life and study. At our course centers, we provide guidance to our students with the monthly presentation topics we set. In addition to this, we also conduct weekly practice exams for our students in order to have a YKS rehearsal, and we do all this free of charge. At the same time, we provide resource support to our students with free question banks.

How YKS and LGS Students Should Prepare for Exams

Jiyan Akbalık, who works as a Guidance Teacher at the Course Center within the Education Branch Directorate, informed about the LGS process and stated that they make a personalized study program because the students have to work with a regular curriculum. Expressing that the study programs may vary from person to person, Akbalık said, “We also tell our students which course they should start with, along with the appropriate study program. When we create a study program, a suitable environment and a question solution, our students need to study regularly with new generation questions.”

Noting that LGS is a skill-based exam and that they recommend students to study by taking small notes or making a summary without memorizing, Akbalık said, “The new generation questions of LGS, reading comprehension questions and verbal logic, reasoning, cause-effect relationship and interpretation of reading skills of students. wants. For this reason, we recommend our students to read books for 30 minutes or at least 20 minutes a day.”
