The results of the applications received with the KPSS score of high school, associate and undergraduate graduates were published by the Gendarmerie General Command. Applications for the Gendarmerie specialist non-commissioned officer were made between September 12 and September 26. Recruitment results for a total of 6605 personnel, including 11 gendarmes, 14 horse keeper, 250 boat helmsmen, 200 medics, 10 combatants, 400 aviation, 10 logistics (vocational) and 7500 marching band sub-branches, were announced.

Exam stages

a. The exam will be held in four stages for candidates: preliminary health examination, physical proficiency, practice exam and interview exam. Registration, acceptance and document control will be carried out before the exam stages, and candidates with missing or incorrect documents will not be admitted to the exams.

Preliminary Health Examination:

(a) Preliminary medical examination of the candidate in accordance with the principles specified in the Health Capability Regulation of the Turkish Armed Forces, Gendarmerie General Command and the Coast Guard Command,

(l) Expert officer candidates must have at least 167 cm. height and whether it is within the weight limits specified in the Health Capability Regulation of the Turkish Armed Forces, Gendarmerie General Command and Coast Guard Command in Table-7,

(ll) Whether there is a flat foot, shoe or pigeon chest, deformity in the spine, color blindness, strabismus,

(lll) Whether his body structure is smooth, sound in all respects and his physical appearance is flawless,

(lV) It is checked whether there are any noticeable skin diseases or disorders, wounds, burns or surgical scars and stains in any part of the body that impair eye aesthetics.

(b) Candidates who are successful in the preliminary health examination are taken to the physical proficiency exam.

Physical Proficiency Exam:

(a) The physical proficiency test is performed according to the criteria specified in Table-11. Candidates who fail to pass the threshold at any stage of the physical proficiency test are eliminated and are not taken to the interview.

(b) Candidates will bring tracksuits, shorts and sneakers with them.

(c) Candidates who will participate in the physical proficiency test shall bring a “health report signed by a single physician stating the situation” (obtained within the validity period specified in the legislation) from any health institution, stating that they do not have any disease.

(d) Candidates who are unable to participate in the tests due to their health status on the day of the physical proficiency test (with a signed report from health institutions) will be evaluated whether they will be taken to the exam on another day in the exam calendar if they apply in advance with their petitions and reports.

Practice Exam:

Candidates with primary education (secondary school), secondary education (high school), associate degree and undergraduate degree who apply as a professional (in the sub-branch of Logistics) are given a practice exam with an evaluation of 50 (fifty) points. Candidates will be subjected to a practice exam in the branch they apply for. The application exam grade is used in the success order. In order to be successful, the candidate must get 25 (twenty-five) points or more from the practice exam. Candidates who score less than 25 (twenty-five) points in the practice exam are not taken to the selection exams.

Interview Exam:

In the interview; The information obtained by observing the candidate's general appearance, attitude and movement, ability to understand and explain, tone of voice and speaking, self-confidence and suitability for military service will be evaluated by the interview commission. The exam is carried out in the form of face-to-face, verbal communication between the interview commission and the candidate, by applying the question-answer method. The interview exam is evaluated over 15 (fifteen) points, the candidates who score 10 (ten) or more in the interview exam are considered successful.

b. The full grade for the physical proficiency and interview exams is 50 (fifty) points. Physical proficiency test 35 (thirty-five) points (400m run 15, long jump 5, sit-up 5, pull-up 10); The interview exam is evaluated over 15 (fifteen) points.

c. It is essential that the total grade of physical proficiency and interview exams is at least 30 (thirty) points. Candidates who score less than 30 (thirty) points are not included in the success ranking.
