Erciyes Ski Center, which is the leader in the winter tourism sector, hosted 70 tourism professionals from Cyprus.
Erciyes, Turkey's largest and most developed ski resort, which hosted tens of thousands of foreign tourists from all over the world as a result of its global promotion and marketing efforts on the last roads, continued its promotional activities with Cyprus.
Within the scope of the organization organized by TURSAB, KITSAB and ORAN in order to develop tourism between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus-TRNC and Kayseri, TRNC Deputy Prime Minister, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Serhan Aktunç and 70 agency officials accompanying him visited Erciyes.

President Dr. Murat Cahid Cıngı gave detailed information about Erciyes to the travel agency and tour operator from the Cyprus Turkish Tourism and Travel Agencies Association. Tourism professionals later discovered the tourism values of Erciyes by visiting the facilities on the mountain.
Saying that the program was very beneficial, TRNC Ministry of Tourism Undersecretary Serhan Aktunç said, “A magnificent ski resort has been created in Erciyes with the big investments made. Tourism values in Kayseri are also a great wealth. We will start our work together with our tourism professionals to make the best use of these opportunities. We can say that our agencies have already started working to create winter packages. Our tourism cooperation between the TRNC and Kayseri will continue to develop," he said.

There is a high demand for Erciyes from all over the world. We made our first attempts to host guests from Cyprus for winter tourism. Now we need to take action and open our Erciyes to our Cypriot citizens. It was a useful information trip; we talked to agencies and operators, made presentations; we toured our mountain; We talked about the potential we have. Cypriot agency officials also expressed that they were amazed by the infrastructure and the richness of the opportunities here. We hope that they will create Erciyes packages to catch up with this season and we will work hard together.”
At the end of the program, Cyprus Undersecretary Serhan Aktunç and Cyprus Turkish Travel Agencies Association President Orhan Tolun were presented with a plaque of appreciation.
