Asphalt and border works continue on the 6,5-kilometer road between the Izmir road and the hospital, which was designed by the Metropolitan Municipality to ensure trouble-free transportation to Bursa City Hospital. The road, where the signaling works will start, will be opened to traffic as soon as possible.

Bursa City Hospital, which has a total bed capacity of 6 in 355 different hospitals in the fields of general, obstetrics, pediatrics, cardiovascular, oncology, physical therapy, rehabilitation (FTR) and high security forensic psychiatry (YGAP), is more accessible with the investments of the Metropolitan Municipality. it becomes The 3-meter section, which is the first stage of the road projected between the İzmir road and the City Hospital, was completed before. While the expropriation works on the 500-meter section between the second stage of the road, Ceviz Cadde and the hospital, came to an end, infrastructure works on the road started last November. With the completion of the excavation and filling works on the road with a total length of 3 thousand 6 meters, the teams started the asphalting and border works. It is aimed that the road, on which a total of 500 thousand tons of hot asphalt will be poured, will be opened to traffic as soon as possible.

Metropolitan Mayor Alinur Aktaş said that they are trying to create new alternative roads in order to alleviate the traffic load. Stating that they have produced new solutions in terms of transportation by road, as well as the rail system, to regions where there is intense mobility such as Bursa City Hospital and university, Mayor Aktaş said, “Our work on this alternative road, which will provide the connection to the City Hospital from the İzmir road, continues uninterruptedly. After completing the excavation and filling works on the road of 6,5 kilometers in total, we started the asphalting and border works. We will open the road where our teams are working intensively to traffic as soon as possible. I wish the road, which will take a significant burden of the traffic in transportation to the City Hospital, be beneficial in advance.”
