China's Four-Engine Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Makes Its First Flight

The Twin-Tailed Scorpion D, China's first domestic four-engine unmanned aerial vehicle, made its maiden flight in Sichuan province.

It is stated that the world's first large-scale four-engine unmanned aerial vehicle, developed by a Chinese company, is designed for multi-purpose, long-term navigation at medium altitude.

With a wingspan of 20 meters, a length of 10,5 meters and a height of 3,1 meters, the vehicle has a maximum take-off weight of 4,35 and a load capacity of 1,5 tons.
