“Basmane and Its Surroundings History, Culture, Art and Archeology Days”, organized by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality for the sixth time this year, in order to promote the historical and cultural heritage of Basmane and to keep the multicultural life of the region alive, has started. Within the scope of the program, which will continue until October 100 with the theme of the 24th anniversary of the liberation of Izmir, the historical district will be the scene of colorful cultural and artistic events.
The series of events, which opened its doors with the opening of the “Multicolor in Basmane” exhibition at the Old Tulip Bakery, continued with a walk towards the Hotels Street. While walking towards Bıçakçı Han for the continuation of the activities, the homeless citizens who benefited from the Basmane Bath with the support of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, showed love to Mayor Soyer and gave flowers.
