Applications have started for the "Alleben Story Contest" organized by Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Gazikultur and Gaziantep Provincial Directorate of National Education under the coordination of Gaziantep Governor's Office.
Organized to increase the interest of Gaziantep youth in literature, to discover new talents in the field of short stories, and to carry the traditional and modern values that make Gaziantep Gaziantep to contemporary literature, the competition will be held among secondary and high school students.
Students will use Gaziantep as the venue for the stories, and the events depicted in the stories will take place in the streets, avenues, historical places, old Antep houses, mosques and inns of the city, especially in the old neighborhoods of Gaziantep.
Students living in the central Şehitkamil and Şahinbey districts will be able to apply until October 6 for the competition, which is organized in two categories as middle school 7th and 9th grades and high school 10th and 21th grades.
Among the winners in the high school and middle school categories, the winners will receive 2 thousand 500 liras, the runners-up will receive a thousand 500 liras, and the third ones will receive a thousand liras.

The judges of the competition are Gazikultur AŞ General Manager Dr. Halil İbrahim Yakar, storyteller and Turkish language and literature teacher Muhammet Erdevir, storyteller Turkish language and literature teacher Adige Batur, storyteller Fatih Kutlubay and storyteller Turkish teacher İbrahim Halil Çelik.
