Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Minister Murat Kurum stated that 25 thousand 38 people benefited from the 532 percent discount campaign of the Mass Housing Administration (TOKİ), which ended yesterday.
Minister Kurum made a statement on his social media account, “We are working with TOKİ to make our citizens homeowners under appropriate conditions. 23 thousand 38 citizens benefited from our discount campaign, which started on September 532 and ended yesterday. 35 thousand 257 of our right holders got their title deeds before the determined date. What we do is for our nation.” shared his knowledge.
On the other hand, according to the statement made by TOKİ, a 23 percent discount campaign was organized for those who pay their debts early between September 19 and October 2022, 25 for owners of residences and workplaces.
Citizens showed great interest in the discount campaign for residential and business owners whose sales were made before 30 June 2021 and whose repayment installments started before 30 June 2021 at the latest.
In the previous period, 26 residential and business buyers benefited from the campaign. In this period, 306 thousand 38 people benefited from the campaign, while 532 percent of them paid off their debts.
A flexible payment plan was also made for residential and business buyers who could not close their entire debt balance from the discount campaign. Provided that not less than 25 percent of the debt balance, 3 thousand 275 residential and business buyers who participated in the campaign benefited from the discount with the payments they made.
